Spanish Chicken And Rice
|Frying chicken||3 Pound, cut into serving size pieces (1 Bird)|
|Rice||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Uncooked)|
|Spanish rice mix||1 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sherry||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Combine rice, Spanish rice mix, water, sherry, onion and salt in glass casserole.
Place chicken pieces on top.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Insert probe into liquid.
Cook on HIGH (9); HEAT & HOLD at 180°F for 1 hour 15 minutes or until chicken is done and rice is tender.
