Lou Snow S Spanish Lentil Soup
|Olive oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Green pepper||1 , chopped|
|Onion||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Tomatoes||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Stewed Or Canned)|
|Carrots||1 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced|
|Lentils||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
Heat oil in a very large frying pan or Dutch oven.
Stir in green pepper, onion, and garlic.
Cook until soft.
Sprinkle with flour, and stir.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, 2 hours.
Taste and correct seasonings.
