Italian Sausage Paella

This is mom's way of making a delicious paella.She usually throws in everything that she can lay her hands on into paella. No matter what you use in making paella,rest assured it will come out simply fantastic.
Ingredients
  Chicken breast halves 4 (Skinned And Boned)
  Paprika 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Sweet italian sausage 3⁄4 Pound
  Sun-dried tomatoes 20 Ounce, chopped (Packed In Oil Drained About 1 C)
  Chicken broth 15 Ounce
  Canned chicken broth 29 Ounce (2 cans - 13 3/4 or 14 1/2 oz. each)
  Converted rice 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Onion 1 Large, cut into wedges
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Turmeric 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Saffron 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Shrimp 1 Pound (Cooked)
  Green bell pepper To Taste, cut into thin strips
  Steamed mussels 10
Directions

You begin with cutting chicken breast into thin strips.In a small bowl mix paprika,salt & pepper.Coat chicken breast with the mixture.Cut sausage in 1/4 inch pieces,remove casing.Pat tomatoes completely dry with paper towel. Add enough water to chicken broth to make 3 3/4 cups. Bring to boil in 12 inch skillet. Stir in rice, onion, garlic, turmeric, saffron, chicken, sausage and tomatoes. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in shrimp and green pepper. If desired, arrange mussels on top. Let stand covered until all liquid is absorbed, about 5 minutes.
