Pollo En Jugo De Naranja

  Frying chicken 2 Pound, cut into pieces
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Canned frozen orange juice 6 Ounce (1 Can)
  Canned crushed pineapple 8 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)
  Dry sherry/Dry white wine 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Preferably White)
  Blanched ground almonds 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon

Dredge chicken pieces in mixture of 1/2 cup flour, 1 tbs salt and 1 tsp.
lemon pepper.
Brown them in hot oil and arrange the chicken in a shallow baking dish.
Combine the frozen orange juice concentrate, crushed pineapple, dry sherry, raisins, ground almonds, cinnamon, cloves' and if desired, the sugar.
Pour the mixture over the chicken pieces.
Bake 30 minutes at 325 degrees, basting several times.
Increase temperature to 350 and bake 15 minutes longer, but checking freguently to avoid over-browning.
