Microwave Spanish Rice
|Chuck||1 Pound, ground|
|Whole tomatoes||28 Ounce, cut up|
|Instant rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chili powder||2 Tablespoon|
|Instant minced onion||1 Tablespoon|
In 2-quart casserole, crumble beef.
Add tomatoes, rice, chili powder, minced onions, salt and pepper.
Microwave at high (10) 11 to 14 minutes, stirring after 6 minutes.
If top of food appears dry during cooking, stir again.
Return to oven to finish cooking.
