Baked Tostada Cups
|Flour tortillas||10 (6 to 8 inches in diameter)|
Place oven rack on bottom rung.
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Place 5 tortillas in a plastic bag or on a plate covered with plastic wrap.
Microwave on high (100%) for 30 to 40 seconds, or until soft enough to bend.
While warm, press into 3 1/2-inch custard cups, souffle dishes, or 2 1/2- to 3-inch muffin cups to form fluted cups.
Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until very crisp and lightly browned.
Remove tortillas from tins. (Cups may be stored in an airtight container at room temperature up to 2 days or frozen.
Before filling, reheat at 350°F.)
