Spanish Steak And Rice

  Instant spanish rice mix 6 Ounce (1 Package)
  Beef cubed steaks 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1/2-inch-wide strips
  Cooking oil 2 Tablespoon
  Green pepper 1 Medium, cut into strips
  Catsup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon

Prepare rice mix according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in large skillet brown half the meat at a time in hot oil.
Return all meat to pan.
Add pepper.
In screw-top jar mix catsup, cornstarch, sugar, 1 cup cold water, and 1 teaspoon salt.
Shake to blend; add to skillet.
Cook and stir till mixture bubbles.
Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more.
Stir in hot rice; heat through.
