Microwave Spanish Rice
|Ground chuck||1 Pound|
|Uncooked instant rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chili powder||2 Tablespoon|
|Instant minced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Canned whole tomatoes||12 Ounce (1 Pound)|
In 2 qt. casserole, crumble beef.
Add instant rice, chili powder, minced onions, salt, pepper and tomatoes.
Microwave at high (10) 12 to 14 minutes, stirring after 6 minutes.
If top of food appears dry during cooking, stir again, then return to oven to finish cooking.
