Delicious Spanish Cream
|Unflavored gelatin envelope||1 Tablespoon|
|Eggs||3 , separated|
|Skim milk||2 Cup (32 tbs), scalded (Use 2/3 Cup Skim Milk Per Serving)|
|Cream flavored dietetic carbonated beverage||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Sprinkle gelatin over carbonated beverage in top part of double boiler.
Place over low heat, stirring constantly until gelatin dissolves, about 3 minutes.
Set top over bottom part of double boiler holding water.
Add hot milk, egg yolks, salt.
Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
Whip egg whites until stiff and fold into hot mixture (hot mixture cooks the whites).
Turn into mold or 3 individual crystal dessert dishes.
Chill until firm.
