Spaghetti In A Skillet
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Minced onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), pressed (Small Clove)|
|Minced green pepper||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Peeled diced tomatoes/1 can tomatoes 2 2/3 cups water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Ketchup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dried oregano||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Spaghetti||8 Ounce, broken in thirds|
|Toast slices||3 , spread with garlic butter (For Garnish)|
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown meat, onion and garlic, stirring to break up meat.
Add green pepper.
Cook 3 minutes longer.
Add tomatoes, water, ketchup, salt, oregano and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Bring back to a boil, stirring to separate spaghetti pieces.
Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Spoon into a serving dish.
Cut garlic toast into triangles and arrange around edge of serving dish.
Makes 4 servings.
