Spaghetti With Clam Sauce
|Spaghetti||1⁄2 Pound (Cooked)|
|Olive oil||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Garlic||3 Clove (15 gm), minced|
|Minced clams||2 Small|
|Minced parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cook spaghetti in 4 quarts boiling salted water until tender, stirring often; drain.
Heat olive oil in heavy skillet over low heat.
Add garlic; brown slightly.
Add 1/3 teaspoon salt, pepper, clams and 2 cups water;cook for 15 minutes.
Add parsley; cook for 5 minutes longer.
Place spaghetti in deep bowl.
Pour sauce over spaghetti.
Top with Parmesan cheese.
Add additional Parmesan cheese to individual servings, if desired.
