Carolyn's Spaghetti

Ingredients
  Whole wheat spaghetti 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Salt To Taste
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ripe tomatoes 1 1⁄2 Pound, chopped
  Marjoram 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Ground black pepper To Taste
  Soy bacon bits 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Freshly grated cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Parmesan And/Or Romano)
Directions

Bring a large pan of water to a boil; add spaghetti, salt to taste and let boil until just tender (about 8 to 10 minutes).
Saute onion in olive oil until transparent.
Stir in tomatoes, marjoram, and pepper.
Simmer briskly, stirring regularly, for about 10 minutes until spaghetti is tender.
Drain spaghetti.
Add "bacon" bits to tomato sauce; taste, and correct seasonings.
Pour sacue over spaghetti, sprinkle on grated cheese, and serve immediately.
