Spaghetti And Spicy Turkey Meatballs
|Ground turkey||1 Pound|
|Dry bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Finely chopped italian parsley||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Fresh)|
|Finely chopped fresh oregano||1 Tablespoon|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1 Tablespoon|
|Hot pepper sauce||5 Dash|
|No salt added spaghetti sauce||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
In a large pot, cook the spaghetti in boiling water for 10 to 12 minutes, or until tender; drain well.
While the spaghetti is cooking, prepare the meatballs.
In a large bowl, mix together the turkey, bread crumbs, parsley, oregano, Parmesan, egg white and hot-pepper sauce.
Shape into 2" balls.
In a large no-stick frying pan over medium-high heat, cook the meatballs for 5 minutes, or until brown on all sides.
Add the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked and no longer pink when sliced with a knife.
