Easy Spaghetti Bake
|Onions||2 , chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Pepper||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chili powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Tomato sauce||16 Ounce (Two 8 Ounce Cans)|
|Tomato paste||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Water||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Ripe olives||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced|
|Cheddar cheese/Cheese of choice||1 Cup (16 tbs), grated|
Fry bacon, remove from pan and crumble.
Add onions and garlic to bacon grease and saute.
Add ground beef cooking until almost brown.
Stir in seasonings, sauces and water.
Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
Stir in olives and bacon.
Break half of the uncooked spaghetti into greased 2-quart casserole.
Cover with half of the sauce and half of the cheese.
Repeat layers ending with sauce.
Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350°; uncover, and bake 15 minutes longer.
Can be frozen after cooking.
