|Bolognaise sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vegetable oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Onion||1 , chopped|
|Mince meat||500 Gram|
|Tomato puree||400 Gram|
|Red wine/Water||60 Milliliter|
|Chopped oregano/1/2 teaspoon dried oregano||1 Tablespoon|
|Chopped thyme/1/2 teaspoon dried thyme||1 Tablespoon|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
To make sauce, heat oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
Add garlic and onion and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes until onion is soft.
Add meat and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until meat is well browned.
Stir in tomato puree (passata)., wine or water, oregano and thyme.
Bring to simmering and simmer stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes or until sauce reduces and thickens.
Season to taste with black pepper.
Cook pasta in boiling water in a large saucepan following packet directions.
