Company's Coming Soybeans
|Dried soybeans||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Ham hock||1 Small|
|Onion||1 Large, diced|
|Celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced|
1. Soak beans overnight. Drain beans; place in large kettle.
2. Add ham hock, sugar, onion, celery, bay leaves, salt and 6 cups cold water. Bring to a boil; cover kettle. Reduce heat; simmer for 3 hours or until beans are tender.
3. Serve hot
