Filipino Pork Menudo

Menudo is Filipino dish that is very easy and fast to prepare. It doesn't need to many ingredients and makes a hearty meal.


Pork 350 Gram , diced
Liver 150 Gram , diced
Bell pepper 2 , diced
Menudo/afritada mix 30 Gram (Mama Sita's)
Garbanzo 1/3 Cup (4.8 tbs) , cooked
Raisins 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Potatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs) , diced
Carrot 1 , diced
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Oil 2 Tablespoon


Dissolve Mama Sita's menudo/aftrida mix in water.

Fry potatoes in hot oil and set aside.

In the same pan, stir fry meat until golden brown.

Pour in the dissolved mix. Mix it well.

Cover and simmer until meat is tender.

Add hot water if necessary.

Cover and cook for sometime. And add rest of the ingredients.

Simmer for two minutes and serve hot.
