How To Make Caipirinha

Cachaça is the national spirit of Brazil. From that spirit comes the national cocktail of Brazil, the Caipirinha. Our intrepid host will show you how to make the Caipirinha.
Ingredients
  Cachaca 2 Ounce (or good white rum)
  Granulated sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Lime 1⁄2
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Wash the lime, and cut it into quarters.

MAKING
2. Into a heavy tumbler, put the lime pieces and then add the sugar. Muddle hard to extract juices and dissolve the sugar.
3. Fill the glass with ice and pour the cachaça. Stir to mix and chill.

SERVING
4. Top with more ice and serve immediately.
