Preheat oven to broil.
In a small skillet, fry sausage over medium heat until brown and crumbly.
Drain on absorbent paper.
Beat eggs lightly; stir in cheese, sausage, and peppers.
In a heavy, ovenproof 7-inch skillet, heat oil over medium heat until very hot.
Add egg mixture and lower heat.
Gently stir egg mixture with a wooden spoon and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
Eggs should be firm but moist.
