Ingredients
  Ground beef 1⁄2 Pound
  Ground pork 1⁄2 Pound
  Water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Tomatoes 4 Medium, peeled and diced
  Seedless raisins 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Garlic 2 1⁄2 Clove (12.5 gm), finely chopped
  Green onions 3 , finely cut
  Tomato paste 6 Ounce (1 Can)
  Raw potatoes 3 , peeled and diced
  Jalapeno peppers/Hot peppers 2 , chopped
  Diced pimientos 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Ground oregano 1 Dash
  Toasted blanched almonds 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

Cover meat with water.
Add salt and pepper and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer, covered, until potatoes are done, about 20 minutes.
