Easy Picadillo

Ingredients
  Ground beef 1 Pound
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Potatoes 2 , peeled, cut in quarters and sliced
  Canned petite diced tomatoes 15 Ounce (1 Can)
  Crushed red pepper flakes 1 Teaspoon
Directions

In a large frying pan, with a lid, brown the ground beef and chopped onion; season with garlic salt and pepper.
Stir in prepared potatoes, petite diced tomatoes, and crushed red pepper.
Add enough water to cover all ingredients.
Simmer covered for 25-30 minutes, until the potatoes are tender and the water is absorbed.
