|Garlic cloves||1 Small, chopped|
|Ground beef||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Tomatoes||2 Large, peeled, seeded, and chopped|
|Dry red wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped green olives||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Hot cooked rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Fresh pepper||To Taste|
Saute onion, green pepper, and garlic in hot oil in a large skillet.
Stir in ground beef.
Cook until beef loses its color, stirring to break up meat.
Drain off fat.
Stir in tomatoes, raisins, capers, wine, and olives.
Simmer for about 30 minutes.
Season to taste.
