Butternut Soup

Butternut Soup is a creamy, delicious soup recipe mainly prepared with butternuts, apple, onions, ground nutmegs, butter and chicken stock cubes. The soup has the flavoring of butternut and it is often enjoyed as a starter before a roast beef or lamb. A variation to the butternut soup can be tried by replacing the nutmeg with a little finely grated orange rind. Butternut soup is often served with parsley topping and a drizzle of olive oil.
