Creamy Cheese Soup
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||3 1⁄2 Cup (56 tbs)|
|Cut up cheese||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Chop carrots and celery; cook in boiling water about 10 minutes, until tender.
Cook in butter until tender.
Stir in flour.
Add milk slowly; stir until smooth.
Cook and stir until thickened.
Add cheese, vegetables, and cooking liquid; stir over low heat until cheese melts.
