Chilled Artichoke Soup

Ingredients
  Canned artichokes 14 Ounce
  Basil 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste
  Light cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped chives 1 Tablespoon (Additional Chopped Chives For Garnish)
Directions

Blend artichokes, a couple at a time so as not to clog the blender.
Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
Chill thoroughly.
Top each soup cup with chopped chives before serving.
