Winter Squash Apple And Walnut Soup
|Frozen pureed winter squash||24 Ounce, Defrosted (2 Packages Of 12 Ounce Each, Butternut Squash)|
|Unsalted butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Unsweetened applesauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cream||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Light Or Heavy)|
|Ground toasted walnuts||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dried chervil||2 Teaspoon, crumbled|
|Ground mace||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|White pepper||To Taste|
|Toasted walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (For Garnish)|
Combine all the ingredients except the walnuts to be used for garnish in a large saucepan and stir to blend well.
Cook the soup over medium heat until warmed through, about 6 to 8 minutes.
Ladle the soup into bowls and add a few chopped walnut pieces in the center.
