|Frozen chopped spinach||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Black pepper||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Chicken consomme||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg yolk||1 , beaten|
Cook spinach according to package directions, substituting consomme for water.
Add salt, pepper, and milk.
Heat, blend hot mixture with egg yolk.
Return to soup, stirring constantly.
Heat for 2 minutes longer, sprinkle with nutmeg
