Broccoli Wild Rice Soup
|Chicken and wild rice mix||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Water||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Frozen chopped broccoli||10 Ounce, thawed (1 Package)|
|Carrot||1 Medium, shredded|
|Dried minced onion||2 Teaspoon|
|Cream of chicken soup||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce, cubed|
|Slivered almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Combine the rice, contents of the seasoning packet and water in a large saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
Stir in the broccoli, carrot and onion.
Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.
Stir in the soup and cream cheese.
Cook until the cream cheese is melted and warm, stirring constantly.
Stir in the almonds.
