Caraway Soup (Zupa Kminkowa)
|Meat broth/Bouillon / meat stock||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Caraway seed||2 Tablespoon|
|Browned flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Melted butter||2 Tablespoon|
|Diced kielbasa/Salami||1⁄2 Pound, cooked or smoked (Polish Sausage)|
|Buttered croutons||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Rapidly simmer broth with caraway seed 15 minutes.
Strain and discard seed.
Blend flour into butter until smooth.
Return broth to saucepan.
Stir in flour mixture and sausage.
Bring just to boiling, stirring.
Serve garnished with croutons and, if desired, sour cream.
