Steak In Onion Soup

The steak in onion soup is prepared with a round steak cooked in the oven. Browned and flavored with onion soup mix, the steak is roasted with veggies and can be served with a garnish of fresh parsley.
Ingredients
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Round steak 1 Pound (0.50 Inch Thick)
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Onion soup 1 Can (10 oz)
  Water 1⁄2 Can (5 oz)
  Carrots 4 , diced
  Potatoes 4 , diced
Directions

Pound flour into steak.
Brown in shortening in ovenproof skillet.
Add soup, water, carrots and potatoes.
Cover; bake at 350 degrees 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Remove cover; bake additional 15 minutes.
Top with parsley.
