Yugoslavian Apple Soup

|Tart apples||6 , cored, peeled, and sliced|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Dry white wine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon||1⁄2 , juiced|
|Croutons||8 (For Garnish)|
Combine apples, water, wine, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low about 6 hours or until apples are very soft.
Puree in a food mill.
Serve hot, garnished with croutons.
