Peach Melba Soup

Ingredients
  Water 50 Milliliter (0.25 Cup)
  Granulated sugar 25 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)
  Sliced peeled peaches 1 1⁄2 Liter (6 Cups)
  Light cream 375 Milliliter (1.5 Cups)
  White wine/White grape juice 125 Milliliter (0.5 Cup)
  Vanilla ice cream 1 Pint
  Raspberry sauce 1 Tablespoon
Directions

In small saucepan, stir water and sugar over low heat until sugar has dissolved.
Let cool.
In blender or food processor, combine peaches and 1/2 cup (125 mL) of the cream puree until smooth.
Pour into large bowl; whisk in remaining cream, cooled sugar syrup and wine.
Pour into serving bowls.
Top with scoop of ice cream; drizzle with Raspberry Sauce
