Corn And Chicken Soup
|Chicken meat||6 Ounce, minced (Raw)|
|Dry sherry||1 Tablespoon|
|Chicken broth||1 Quart|
|Cream style corn||10 Ounce|
|Cold water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Thin ham strips||4|
Combine the chicken with the sherry, salt, and egg whites.
Bring the chicken broth to a full, rolling boil.
Add minced chicken mixture and corn.
Simmer 2 minutes.
Add cornstarch mixture and simmer an additional 2 minutes, stirring continuously.
Add more salt, if needed.
Pour into serving bowls and garnish with thin strips of ham.
