Ingredients
  Beef shank/Meaty soup bones 3 Pound
  Salt 3 Teaspoon
  Thyme leaf/Marjoram 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Peppercorns/0.25 teaspoon pepper 6
  Whole allspice 2
  Bay leaf 1
  Beef bouillon cubes/2 teaspoons beef bouillon 2
  Water 2 Quart (8 Cups)
  Potatoes 2 Medium, peeled and cubed
  Celery stalks 2 , sliced
  Carrots 2 Medium, sliced
  Onion 1 Small, chopped
  Canned tomatoes 16 Ounce, undrained (2 Cups)
  Whole kernel corn 12 Ounce, drained, if desired (1.5 Cups)
Directions

In large saucepan, combine first 8 ingredients.
Cover and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender.
Remove beef shank, peppercorns, allspice and bay leaf.
Cut meat from bones and return to soup.
Add remaining ingredients; cover and simmer 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
