Hearty Lentil Soup
|Lentils||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Medium, quartered, and chopped with the metal blade|
|Celery stalks||2 Large, cut into 3 inch sections, and chopped with the metal blade|
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Smoked pork neck bones||1⁄3 Pound (With Meat Attached)|
Place beans, onion, celery, and water in saucepan with neck bones.
Simmer 45 to 60 minutes or until beans are tender.
Remove bones and trim off meat.
Process soup 1 to 2 cups at a time with the metal blade until smooth.
Add meat and rewarm if necessary.
Season to taste.
