Fresh Pea Soup
|Shelled english peas||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Fresh)|
|Shredded lettuce||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped green onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chicken-flavored bouillon granules||1 Teaspoon|
|White pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dried whole tarragon||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Skim milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Combine all ingredients except milk in a large saucepan; bring to a boil.
Cover; reduce heat, and simmer 25 minutes or until very tender.
Transfer mixture to container of an electric blender; add milk, and process until smooth.
Pour into soup bowls; serve warm.
