Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
  Vegetable soup mix 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Water 7 Cup (112 tbs)
  Bouillon granules 1 Tablespoon, beef flavored
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
Directions

Combine soup mix and water in a large Dutch oven; let soak 11/2 hours.
Add remaining ingredients, and bring to a boil.
Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
Remove the bay leaf before serving.
