Main Meal Vegetable Soup

  Potatoes 3 Medium
  Carrots 3
  Pearl barley 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Cabbage 1⁄2 Small
  Tomatoes/16 ounces can of tomatoes / tomato juice 1 Pint
  Frozen green beans 5 Ounce
  Zucchini 2 Small
  Cooked meat 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Prepare beef stock (above). Taste to be sure it has a hearty flavor. If not, boil down to about 2 quarts. To boiling stock, add potatoes, carrots, barley, cabbage, turnips, and tomatoes. Cook until vegetables are partially cooked. Add green beans and zucchini for last 10 to 15 minutes of cooking. Add cooked meat last 5 minutes.
