Fresh And Healthy Tomato Soup

An easy soup
Ingredients
  Canned tomatoes 400 Gram
  Onion 1 Medium
  Garlic cloves 4
  Thyme 1 Teaspoon
  Rosemary 1 Teaspoon
  Chicken broth 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cream 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter 1 Teaspoon
  Salt & pepper To Taste
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Chop onion and garlic.

MAKING
2. In a deep pan, melt butter, add onion and garlic, saute for 2 minutes.
3. Add the tomato puree, thyme, rosemary and chicken broth, cook on low heat for 60 minutes.
4. Add cream, using stick blender, blend the prepared mixture. Add salt and pepper.

SERVING
5. Serve hot with a crunchy crouton.

I've been making this for a long time - it's very easy and comes out good every time...
Fresh Tomato Soup are appetizing and comforting during winters. Here, Chef has his own version which he makes pretty easily and quickly with all the goodness. There is no hard and fast rules for the recipe, however alerting the ingredients to great extent may not yield a tasty dish.

Fresh hommade tomato soup has a charm and taste that is so very different from the store bought one and not to forget the health aspect minus MSG, the color and preservatives.

Making tomato soup using fresh heirloom tomatoes instead of canned results in an amazing flavour. Each heirloom tomato has it's own special flavour. It is fun to use non-red heilooms for soups and sauces!
