Potato Soup (Poor Man's Soup)

Ingredients
  Bacon slices 4
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Potatoes 4
  Milk 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Fry bacon until crisp; drain well and crumble. Cook onion in 2 tablespoons bacon fat until soft but not browned. Add potatoes and milk; heat. Taste to correct seasonings. Sprinkle crumbled bacon in each bowl as served.
