Ingredients
  Meaty beef shank bone 3 Pound
  Salt 2 Tablespoon
  Water 4 Quart
  Rutabagas 2 Pound
Directions

Bring shank bone to a boil in salted water; cook until meat is tender.
Add rutabagas.
Cook until beef comes from bone and rutabagas are tender.
Add water, if necessary.
