Stockless Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
  Celery 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
  Pepper 1 Dash
  String beans 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), chopped
  Cabbage 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Onion 1 Small, chopped
  Carrots 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), diced
  Peas 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Potatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Catsup 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine all vegetables except potatoes in kettle; add 3 1/2 cups water, salt anc pepper.
Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
Simmer for 4 minutes.
Add potatoes; cook for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Combine butter and flour in small frypan; heat until golden brown, stirring constantly.
Add to cooked soup.
Stir in catsup.
