Cherry And Plum Cold Soup

Ingredients
  Pitted plums 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Pitted sour cherries 1 Cup (16 tbs) (red variety)
  Sliced peaches 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 6 Quart
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Kosher salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Sour cream 6 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) In a saucepan, mix together the fruit, water, sugar, salt and cinnamon
2) Bring the soup to a gentle boil and lower the flame to cook for 15 minutes
3) Pass the fruits and syrup through a food mill
4) Add in the cornstarch with a little water and add to the fruit mixture
5) Place the fruit mixture back onto the stove
6) Cook on low flame for about 10 minutes
7) Cling wrap and place in the refrigerator to chill

SERVING
8) Serve the soup chilled with some sour cream carefully spooned over
