Green Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
  Green split peas 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Water/Vegetable stock 12 Cup (192 tbs)
  Garlic 8 Clove (40 gm), minced
  Carrots 1 Pound, diced
  Bay leaf 1
  Dried parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Black pepper 1 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING
1.Rinse the peas.
2.Take a soup kettle, add the peas, stock or water, carrots, herbs and seasoning and let it boil.
3.Cover, reduce heat, and let it simmer for 1 1/2 hours until peas are well cooked.
4.Check seasoning

SERVING
5.Serve hot or cool.
