American Creamy Potato Soup

Ingredients
  Potatoes 8 Ounce, peeled
  Onion 1 Large
  Bay leaf 1
  White stock/Water 1 Pint
  Butter 1 Ounce
  Flour 1 Ounce
  Milk 1⁄2 Pint
  Thin cream/Evaporated milk 5 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste (As Required)
  Pepper To Taste (As Required)
  Cayenne pepper To Taste (As Required, For Garnish)
  Watercress/Parsley 1 , chopped (As Required, For Garnish)
Directions

MAKING
1) In stock or water add potatoes, onion with bay leaf and simmer till soft.
2)Remove the mixture and seive it or smash it with a wooden spoon until very smooth.
3)Further to prepare white sauce mix butter, flour and milk adding potato puree in it and cream in it.
4)Reheat for sometime.
5)Season the soup and garnish with cayenne pepper and chopped watercress or parsley.
SERVING
6)This yummy Creamy Potato Soup can be served with diced ham.
