Spicy Fruit Soup
|Pears||1 Pound, peeled, cored and sliced (450g)|
|Orange||1 , juiced|
|Dry cider||3⁄4 Pint (400ml)|
|Mixed spice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Mint||2 Tablespoon (to garnish)|
1) In a deep casserole place all the ingredients (except mint) and cook for about 20 minutes (stir once during the process).
2) Set aside the soup for about 10-15 minutes.
3) Remove the cloves and liquidize the soup.
4) Chill the soup.
5) Serve the chilled soup, with a garnish of mint sprig, in each bowl of soup.
