Spicy Fruit Soup

Ingredients
  Pears 1 Pound, peeled, cored and sliced (450g)
  Orange 1 , juiced
  Dry cider 3⁄4 Pint (400ml)
  Mixed spice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cloves 2
  Mint 2 Tablespoon (to garnish)
Directions

MAKING:
1) In a deep casserole place all the ingredients (except mint) and cook for about 20 minutes (stir once during the process).
2) Set aside the soup for about 10-15 minutes.
3) Remove the cloves and liquidize the soup.
4) Chill the soup.

SERVING:
5) Serve the chilled soup, with a garnish of mint sprig, in each bowl of soup.
