Earth Friendly Beef and Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
  Cooking oil 15 Milliliter (1 tablespoon)
  Stewing beef 6 Ounce, cut into very small pieces (175 g)
  Onions 8 Ounce, chopped (225g)
  Carrots 4 Ounce, chopped (100 g)
  Leek 1 , chopped
  Hot beef stock 1⁄2 Pint (1 liter)
  Tomato paste 2 Tablespoon (paste)
  Mixed herbs 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

MAKING:
1) Combine chopped beef, onions, carrots, leek and cooking oil in a large dish.
2) Cover the dish and cook for about 5 minutes (stir the contents during this process).
3) Add the remaining ingredients to the dish and cook for about 30 minutes (cover the dish).

SERVING:
4) Set aside the soup for about 15 - 20 minutes and then serve it hot with crusty bread.
