Earth Friendly Beef and Vegetable Soup
|Cooking oil||15 Milliliter (1 tablespoon)|
|Stewing beef||6 Ounce, cut into very small pieces (175 g)|
|Onions||8 Ounce, chopped (225g)|
|Carrots||4 Ounce, chopped (100 g)|
|Leek||1 , chopped|
|Hot beef stock||1⁄2 Pint (1 liter)|
|Tomato paste||2 Tablespoon (paste)|
|Mixed herbs||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
1) Combine chopped beef, onions, carrots, leek and cooking oil in a large dish.
2) Cover the dish and cook for about 5 minutes (stir the contents during this process).
3) Add the remaining ingredients to the dish and cook for about 30 minutes (cover the dish).
4) Set aside the soup for about 15 - 20 minutes and then serve it hot with crusty bread.
