Brown Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
  Onions 2 , sliced
  Butter 1 Ounce
  Beef stock 2 Pint (Made From Stock Cubes)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Bread slice 1 , toasted and sliced
  Cabbage 1 , diced
  Carrots 2 , diced
  Turnip 1 , diced
  Potatoes 2 , diced
  Parsley 1 Tablespoon (As Required)
Directions

MAKING
1) In a large pan, saute the onion in butter until browned.
2) Add the beef stock, sat, pepper, diced toast and vegetables
3) Simmer over a low heat for 25 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
4) Press the vegetables through a strainer or process in a liquidizer.
5) Return to the saucepan, heat thoroughly and adjust the seasoning.

SERVING
6) Ladle the Brown Vegetable Soup into soup bowls and serve hot.
