|Smoked bacon||6 Ounce, small diced|
|Stock||2 Pint (1 liter)|
|Cheddar cheese||2 Tablespoon, grated|
1) Grate all the vegetables.
2) In a pan, melt the butter and add the bacon dices.
3) Cook bacon till brown.
4) Add the grated vegetables with stock.
5) Season the well with salt and pepper.
6) Let the vegetables boil in stock gently till the vegetables and meat are tender - about 3/4 hour.
7) Garnish the Cottage soup with grated cheese and serve piping hot.
