Romertopf Special Pea Soup

Ingredients
  Dried peas 1⁄2 Pound
  Boiled ham 1⁄2 Pound, chopped
  Potatoes 1 , chopped
  Bouquet garni 1
  White wine 1⁄2 Pint
  Stock 1 1⁄2 Pint
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 400F.
2) Soak the peas overnight.

MAKING
3) Into a pre-soaked romertorpf, add in the soaked peas, chopped ham, stock, white wine, potatoes and the bouquet garni.
4) Place the vessel in the oven and cook for at least 2 1/2 hours.

SERVING
5) Garnish the Pea Soup with chopped parsley.
6) You may also garnish it with marjoram, crushed garlic, thyme.
7) Serve toasted croutons on the side.
